From an idea of 1989 originated the key word of the Association ANEMOS: wind.
The wind that sneaks through the harshness of every wall to give back life to agonized culture, wherever it would be and especially in the city suburbs.
In 1992, the Cultural Association ANEMOS was born officailly, with no political partiality but rich in ideas and purposes: fight against intellectual segregation, persue aim of aggregation, cultural exchanges, promote the conditions to a better life quality such as:
Poetry: meetings, competitions and editing;
Music: concerts, competitions and music school;
Conferences masters and seminars in cooperation with the University of Tor Vergata - Rome;
Music-didactical experimental activities with all the children including those withspecial needs: music school, propaedeutic school music, chorus.
Budget:
90 operatic and cameristic concerts;
9th Edition of the Vocal and Instrumental Internatinal Competion "ANEMOS", addressed to young and old musicians such as 4 year old chidren to diplomats and professional musicians.
5 Art expositions;
3 Books edited for our associates;
2 Seminars: one of Music Pedagogy, the other of philosophy;
1 Music school active from the year 1889 with many instrumental classes;
1 Experimental Lab of Musical Pedagogy for all the children including those withspecial needs ;
25 School concerts;
7 Poetry Meetings.
We also have had cooperations with other associations in different activities such as theatre plays like Il Poro Nerone together the Gruppo Storico Romano, the theare company Teatro of Rome with which we also organised two concerts; then a cooperation with the poerty magazine Il Nuovo Giornale dei Poetry. We also took part in the the project for an experimental festival of arts called La Cittą invisibili together with the E.T.I. in June 1998.
